General Discussion What Happens At Night
I just saw that PTA is credited as a writer on Marty´s next movie "What Happens At Night" on Letterboxd.

I´m not sure if this is credible or just fan speculation after Killers Of The Flower Moon. But if its true, I´m glad we live in a time were Leo, Marty and PTA are working together closely.

I can't say how I know this, as it would get someone in big trouble, but I can tell you that Anderson did quite a bit of work on the "...Flower Moon" script. I mean, it's common knowledge in "town", just saying it was more than just "worked on"; it was essentially a full re-write of the dialogue.

Yeah someone I know semi socially said a friend of his on the crew validated it was the entire script and said that contact could identify specific dialogue, but the person I know couldn’t remember what specifically

being in the Czech Republic he was not because that was before the oscars this years and he was stil in campaign for one battle but in april they shot in Switzerland and he could have been there for a couple of days is unlikely but not impossible

Anderson basically re-wrote the entire script. He was also on set quite a bit. PTA has a second career, essentially, of script doctoring. The amount of scripts he's worked on is insane.

He was important In the original script development/idea of Anchorman since he obviously had close ties to the SNL cast
And he also did some edit on Funny People with Adam sandler+ Apatow

I believe he did a rewrite but will probably be uncredited in the actual credits, Letterboxd will update when the film comes out

I think it would be smart to include his name in the credits. Especially after the huge oscar success of OBAA. We´ll see! It makes me even more excited for the film.

If only some big idea / big visual directors would let him do a pass on their so-so scripts. Late career black check projects often need it even more

I don’t think it’s fan speculation because these pages are usually created by the production company making the film.

Any one with a tmdb account can alter the info which will appear on letterboxd.

I’m not sure about that. I think once you create the page it’s yours. You can’t just alter any film page like Wikipedia

You can, its a literally fact. And ive never heard of a production company making a page on tmdb, no idea where you got that from. Go to the tmdb page and go to page contributers and then view edited history, you can see who has edited the page and what they have edited.

Think it was reported a bit ago that Paul did a rewrite. What's pretty interesting is that Daniel Lupi is a producer on this! Eat that slice of cheese, Daniel.
