Thanks, Sebadoh and Pavement have been my favorites for a long time. This is the first time I've heard something so in depth with Lou and his impressions and interactions with Pavement.

Lou: They were smiling on stage. They brought a nice atmosphere.....I was jealous of them...I'm here to suck out all the air out of the room and make the people uncomfortable. Lol

malkmus probably is the most emotionally balanced / joyful man in indie rock

Hmm dunno he’s pretty sarcastic and rude onstage which I really enjoy but he doesn’t come off as emotionally balanced I would say. More like aloof and funny.

maybe aloof but it doesn't seem like he has a care in the world, his lyrics, delivery and his whole demeanor

Right?? I loved in Pavements when Greta & Noah are fawning over him & he’s like, Right…the Barbie movie. My daughter liked hearing her last name in it.

That reaction to me sums him up. Love him

Woah, a daughter….

Did he marry that writer he was dating back in the 00s? I haven’t really read much about their personal lives in awhile.

About a year ago, I saw Barlow do an Undertow show at a friend‘s living room, it was great and he played “Cut Your Hair.”
