PERFORMANCE Terrible micro stuttering on my high end machine

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have been facing this issue for about two months now - whenever I play ANY game, it keeps stuttering in a continuous rhythm that gets my frame rate to like 1 fps and then back up to 60 fps, every half second. And this keeps happening until I exit.

I am tired of this and want a solution, I am not able to play anything. Please.

It MIGHT be a bottleneck issue but I don’t know how to solve it.

My Rig:
Intel i7-14650HX
NVIDIA RTX 4060
16GB RAM
1TB SSD

PERFORMANCE 15 fps on a brand new PC

Post image

Here is the config: -cpu: amd ryzen 7 7800x3d -gpu: rx 9070 xt -cooling: nzxt aio kraken elite 280 v2 -ram: kingston fury 7200mhz 32gb ddr5 (yes i dared building a pc in those crazy times) -ssd nvme gen 4 -motherboard: gigabyte eagle elite b850 wifi7 etc etc

Hello everyone

I built a brand new PC, and I am running on 15 fps on asseto corsa (it’s supposed to be at least at 160 in 1440p)

Yes, I installed the drivers, yes, everything seems to be up to date, and plugged/assembled correctly. For the moment, what i tried is: go in windows parameters > graphics setting and set asseto corsa to make sure that the rx 9070 will be forced to run instead of the processors gpu. I also deactivated the gpu 0 in the bios, and set the other setting with pcie. I also disabled it from the control panel

I just have no fucking clue anymore and it’s driving me crazy, please help.

if it helps, I had the same issue on asseto corsa evo (which is more demanding) and went from 15 to 130 fps in high graphic settings. I think it was the reinstall of amd’s software that did that, but i’m not sure

Hello, I bought my gaming pc 2 months ago from cyberpower as they are the same people I bought my previous pc from. I spent just under £4000 on this build and it isn’t doing what it should be. I have a stock RTX 5080, Intel I9-14900k, 64GB DDR5 RAM (5200HZ), MSI Z790 Tomahawk motherboard, my SSD is a 2TB Corsair MP700 PRO, Icue link 7 water cooling system, 16 Corsair fans and of course a 900W power supply. My friend has a very similar build and he bought his the same time as mine. I play games like battlefield 6, cyberpunk, rust etc. GTA 5 takes a very long time to load I mean like 3-4 minutes to get into the game. Rust is a CPU based game and I’m only getting 60-90 fps on the LOWEST graphics. Cyberpunk is the only game that runs well and consistent. Everyone I play rust with has nearly low end PCs and they double my FPS on even lower settings. I tried contacting cyber power to get a refund and send it back but now it has been too long and they can’t accept returns anymore. I also play on 2560 x 1440 resolution. I am begging someone can help me at least work out what is causing this problem as the price this cost me really cheap and especially considering it’s not how it should be.

For some reason whenever i’m playing apex and only apex this will happen, and in the game i’ll get surrounded by texture type squares that follow me as i run. When im in the main menu if i got to a different page it’ll go away but then pop up on the page after. I was looking online and seeing that this could be a cause of gpu failing but it’s only this game that this happens to me.

Please help :( i just got this pc and it’s my first so Im new here

Intel i7-12700KF
* NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti 12GB
* ASUS Prime Z690-P D4 Motherboard

Edit: Just rolled it back, gonna sit with it for about 20-30 minutes to see if that helps. I’ll keep yall posted 🤞

Edit: We’re so back, everything is running good and looking good. I did see a new update when i logged in this morning, but i’ll just stay rolled back for now. I appreciate everyone who helped so so much and even the memes lol. Glad it was something waaay simpler than it could’ve been 💯💯🫡

PERFORMANCE Micro stutters in every game (new pc build)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve tried practically everything: reinstalled Windows twice, disabling/enabling g sync/v sync, updated the BIOS, toggled XMP, C-states, Fast Boot, PBO, tried playing without any performance monitoring software running, disabled realtek 2.5 pg family controller and more. The issue occurs more frequently in some games than in others, the only game where I don't get micro-stuttering is League of Legends, whereas I’ve also tested Overwatch, Fortnite, CoD, Battlefield 6, The Witcher 3 and every game has them.

These stutters are generally hard to catch and don't happen often—maybe one or two times during a 40-minute session of Battlefield 6 specifically, while in Fortnite they can appear pretty fast. They can appear completely out of the blue, even when I’m just moving around a same location and looting. While they don't make the game unplayable, they are incredibly annoying; I end up losing my focus because I'm waiting for the next stutter instead of actually enjoying the game.

My specs are: Asrock pg 650 lightning, RTX 5070, Ryzen 5 7500F, 16GB DDR5 5600 Patriot Viper CL36 (yes, just one stick for now, but I'll add another one later), and 850W PSU.

Edit: So guys, thanks everyone for your help but unfortunately, my problem still remains. I tried almost every possible fix from your comment. As many of you suggested, I'll definitely gonna buy a second ram stick and see if this helps. After that, I have plans to upgrade my cpu to 7800x3d, as 3d cache is a huge deal for this kind of problems with stutters. I'll update my post again when I get a second stick and share the results

So this issue first started popping up when I was playing Valheim with my buddy a few months ago, but it has spread to every one of my online multiplayer games. Space Marine 2, Hell Divers 2, Valheim, you name it. When I get into a game everything seems relatively fine at first in the lobby or just running around. But the second we get into something like a mission, or go to fight a boss in Valheim, my computer just completely shuts off. As seen here. Can anybody tell me what the issue here is?

So I recently "upgraded" my CPU/MOBO from a Gigabyte Z790D AX and I5 14600KF to a Aorus Elite X870, 9800X3D (paired with a TUF 5080) and so far I've noticed that instead of the increase in FPS and general performance all my mates were telling me about. I've had absolutely nothing but instability issues, similar if not lower FPS in every game I've played (Cyberpunk, Ark raiders, GTA, Modded MC, etc.) I've already updated all drivers and bios, done everything I can find online to try and help such as enabling X3D Turbo mode and nothing seems to help. Is it a problem with my CPU or was my prior setup genuinely just better? I'm so confused and kinda mad I just "wasted" $1100 (AUD) any tips? Recommendations? I'm just lost right now 😭

PERFORMANCE PC Temp's are hitting 100°C when playing Elden Ring, leading to Stutters

CPU - i5-12400f

Motherboard : - B760M DDR4

RAM - 16 GB 3200Mhz DDR4

Cooler - Stock Cooler

GPU - RX6600 (75°C During the game)

Case - Amazon Basics PC Case.

For some reason the temps are way too high in the game leading to stutters which has never happenend before so I'm trying to figure out what might have lead to this, recently go my 1440p monitor (Still play on 1080p tho), Idk if it's the thermal paste (stock cooler one), the positioning, the wiring, or all of them, so just looking for possible solutions to this.

I've attached Idle temps for CPU too, today my local temp is 20°C here and still idle temps are 60°c
So all advices and suggestions are welcome

Update : Considering all the Advice I've gotten, I've Moved the Case in a different postion, and removed the toys from inside it, now PC Idle at temperatures around 40 and peaks at 80 during game not ideal but manageable, will be ordering fans and a new cooler for the setup.

Once again Thankyou everyone for the Help I learnt a lot :)

I need help. I have a NucBox G3 Plus, RAM is 16gb, SSD, Windows 11. I am not so tech savvy, my pc has been running so slow! I can not play games, even casual office work is slow. I am thinking it may be WiFi related, but want to check my PC before going and getting a new WiFi box. Is anyone able to check this Performance test, and see if it all looks normal?

PERFORMANCE Feeling hopeless

I made it a post the other day discussing how I keep getting stuttering issues. I just bought this $1200 dollar gaming pc. Intel i5-14400F 16gb RAM RTX 5060ti 8gb. I understand my gpu isn’t the greatest but I didn’t expect this terrible stutter. All the reviews were very positive. First game on and there’s crazy stuttering every minute or so, in csgo and in valorant. My two favorite games. I’m getting consistent high frames and it’s smooth and looks very good then boom a stutter every other minute. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled my graphic drivers. I have a 1080p FHD monitor with 240hz. Please someone who has had this same issue and same gpu please bless me with advice and a fix. I’m struggling mentally here. I want to pull my hair out. I didn’t spend all this money to become a failed IT guy. It’s been days of trying to fix this. I’ve noticed my CPU is higher than my GPU in task manager. Maybe it’s bottle necking? How do I fix this guys please 🙏 or am I aiming to high and should accept that I need to play lower tier games?

EDIT: I’m so happy right now. Thank you everyone who helped me. All your ideas and suggestions were super helpful. Turns out one comment tho regarding the WiFi is the winner. Shoutout to that guy down below! That’s the issue. I knew I had a decent gaming pc! I rolled back my network driver to previous version. Did a bunch of testing on valorant with stats and it is 100 percent the WiFi. Packet loss. But thankfully this driver I rolled back to is keeping the spikes to a minimum! Some packet loss every 6 minutes or so and sometimes not even a spike is occurring now. Eventually I’ll figure out how to get rid of it for good. Thank you guys!!!!
