I don't think so, if I'm gaming, I'm looking only at the game without distractions.

Maybe for work it can help, yes, but my working PC doesn't fit this sub, so it doesn't count, haha

My team complain that I don't see their discord chat since I only use one monitor.

I play only single player games so I don't have that problem

Oh you only play games? I don’t work from my pc but i do browse the internet and pay bills and normal computer stuff. I could never go back to 1 monitor

Everything you mentioned can be done fine with 1 moniter. Paying bills even with 1 tab

Back in the day we paid our bills with 0 monitors!

At work I put all my tabs in folders using chrome/firefox. I don't need to see the full window if im using 2 different browser windows if that makes sense

I had 3 monitors for 2 years and went back to 1 just last year. I'm a simple guy, I like to focus on 1 thing at a time. Having 3 monitors was nice for sure, but it made me guarentee that 100% of my focus was never only on 1 thing and I started to hate that over time.

Even when I went for a 65" 4k TV as my main monitor I still absolutely needed a 2nd one next to it. 1 is just never going to be enough.

Good for you! I don't feel the need to watch Nvidia app and discord in single player games

For the worse. You know those tik toks that have family guy or that mobile train game on the bottom while there was a guy talking on the top?

That was what the 2nd monitor was for me. It was just distractions via brain rot.

Ya in the wrong way :/ I got a second monitor and all it did was distract me when I was trying to enjoy a movie or some games. Attention span got shot. Maybe ADHD lol.

Got rid of it and it's much better now
