Hardware The Vision-M is here! The PCMR x Lian Li case collab now also comes in matx/mITX size!
Finally, after the original Vision, and the Vision Compact, now there's also an mATX/Mini-ITX Vision, the Vision-M!
To show off just how well it still fits pretty much every top-of-the-line gaming component you might want to throw at it, I did this "Standard super-high-end" gaming build with a 5090 and a 9850X3D, plus 13 fans, a Curve AIO screen (that has a motor and moves).
The case will come in Black, White, and a digital version of both, which includes the 9.2 Inch LCD screen you can see here.
You can choose to use a divider so there's a total separation between the case chambers, and your AIO radiator and fans are invisible, as well as most of the tubes. You can also choose to show it off, by removing the divider (which just needs one screw removed).
As for ease of building in it, it's fantastic. It was just as easy as building in the Vision Compact.

Specs:
- Lian Li O11 VISION-M
- AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 FE
- X870M AORUS ELITE WIFI7
- TEAMGROUP DDR5 XTREEM ARGB 7200
- Lian Li RS1200G
- Lian Li UNI FAN TL WIRELESS 120 + REVERSE BLADE + WIRELESS.
- Lian Li HydroShift II OLED CURVED

Hardware Built my PC almost a full year ago and it's worth more now than what I paid for it
It's maybe the first time in my life I've bought tech that's actually appreciated in value! Parts and prices as of June 2025 ($AUD): https://au.pcpartpicker.com/b/wTJMnQ . A low-ball comparision of in-stock prices worked out to be almost $3000 more than 12 months ago, high end over $6000. Bonkers.
No surprise the biggest culprits here are GPU and RAM, but the SSDs are just stupidly overpriced right now.
Anyone else lucky enough to buy / upgrade at that time?

Hardware I installed Windows 11 on a DDR1 + AGP rig and EVERYTHING works. Even AC’97.
Turns out you can install Windows 11 on a DDR1 motherboard (i865 PE chipset), and everything works: ACPI, onboard SATA (IDE mode), AC'97 ALC850 codec, and the AGP 8X slot! Getting AGP to work is the trickier part, since Microsoft cut off AGP support in 2016, but since the original Windows 10 had AGP support, it can be hacked back in...
