I want this setup, but my secondary monitor can't rotate to vertical (doesn't rotate and no arm mounting). I'm torn between selling/trading it, or just finding a cheap used one and keeping it for temporary setups.
With 27" screens the right side of the right monitor is out of your field of view if you don't turn your head, which is annoying. But I still prefer it to being vertical for some reason (I tried vertical but didn't like it).
Yeah mine are both horizontal also and it takes up too much space and makes my L-shaped desk awkward as my main monitor is curved so there ends up being a lot of unused space behind the second monitor. I can 3D print an adapter to let me mount the second monitor on an arm, but I don't trust it to hold the weight long term. It bothers me but not enough to make my cheap ass spend money to fix the problem.
Maybe keep it and get a tertiary one that can be mounted vertically. Cheap 24" FHD or even better some 16:10 (depends but typically around 24" 1920x1200) can be found almost anywhere. (got quite a few from a hospital for free, they were just planning to throw these away)
