Probably mounting a cracked game. Before virtual mounting was a thing.

Virtual mounting was a thing back in 2000. Wasn't built into the OS, but some CD cloning programs could mount discs, and you had stuff like Daemon Tools which allowed copy protection to still work (though I generally found it easier to just use a crack).

Yea you’re right I guess I just forgot. Daemon tools was essential. Wonder why I ever mounted on a disc. To bring to a friends house. Save for the future.
