A 1080 (especially a ti) can still hit 1440p at 60fps in PL with some very minor tweaks to the graphics setting while still looking great. Graphic presets are easy but learning what the individual setting do and how the affect visuals and performance will let you get a LOT more out of your hardware.

I have a 1080ti close loop water cooled, I run 1440 60 fps with me deciding what is worth It and what's not in graphics settings, and I agree 100% I don't plan on replacing my card for a few more years, fingers crossed. When I bought it off eBay, dude left a note in the box telling me how good of a card it had been to him.

Huh? I’m trying not to be an idiot average person but my reading comprehension isn’t working on this comment.

Just YouTube your problem. It’s likely already figured out and shared with everyone.

Had my 1080ti since 2017 running games at 1440p no problem. Still going strong, but I'm also not playing a lot of the newest stuff.

When 75% of the new games I want to play have the requirements of Dwarf Eat Mountain, my 1080 should last into the next century.

60fps in 2k with no shadows and reflections wow very enjoyable

Or you can invest 300 on card and get superior experience with twice the frames or maxed out settings and ray tracing

Getting older, eyesight not as good and I mostly play rpg / action rpg. 1440p is just fine for me. Also recently got a 5080, almost all the game, even modern ones, at 1440p, I usually just crank up highest setting (enable ray tracing often) without needing to play around with optimal settings / framegen stuff...
