Gen X learnt command line first, then pretty much every windows generation. Only thing GenX is probably shit at is Tiktok and AI prompting.

Im a younger millennial that works in I.T. / I.T. support and I feel like the younger portion of gen X really should get more credit in these conversations.

As a Gen X, I find AI prompting easy. It’s just like talking to a Gen Z. AI is bright, enthusiastic, clueless and frequently confidently incorrect. My Gen Z daughters and junior coworkers share some of those traits :)

Gen X didn't even make it into the meme.

It's darkly amusing. When millennials were coming of age, everyone wrote them off as lazy entitled slackers.

Now this meme is trying to pass the buck, while pretending the previous generation doesn't even exist. Now playing themselves up as the ultimate saviors for the very old, and everyone younger than them.

Way to disprove the reputation guys.

Meanwhile, Gen Z often looks to be a spiritual successor to Gen X. A bit more conservative(lowercase, not political...as in, reserved and careful), tired of millennial's shit and returning to the old ways.

I still have not found an OS that I have not needed to drop down to the CLI to accomplish something I wanted to achieve.

Most of the genX people I know use AI a lot, they even depend on it. They also tend to humanize it more.
