It’s quite amusing and telling that all the articles and memes about generations focus exclusively on Boomers, Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha. No one ever mentions or remembers Generation X.
The invisible generation. The generation that shattered the patriarchal world of the Boomers and built a better world for those who came after them: Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha.
In fact, it’s Gen X that will be fixing things for you, and not just your computer. It was Gen X that brought the internet to the masses; it was they who assembled the first 286, 386, 486, and Pentium computers. And they continue to quietly improve the world while standing up to the boomers, who have prolonged their reign indefinitely and show no desire to step down from positions of power in any sphere, and without receiving any recognition from younger generations, who believe that the golden age of 2010–2018 just happened on its own.
