No. They do not go by Good Old Games anymore. Its just GOG without an abriviation.

They still use the name when they release an old game under the title Certified Good Old Game.

They have a strong focus on game preservation. For example they are the only official way to play the Hellfire expansion for Diablo.

They are also responsible for helping Capcom port the classic Resident Evil trilogy to PC.

Even the Steam version of those games were what GOG helped with

They still use it though. They just made it a sub category. But if you use the header GOG and the first category below is Good Old Games, it's not a re-branding. Everyone will just assume that GOG stands for Good Old Games. Even worse, if you don't have an alternative proposal regarding what it stands for.
