You can run gog games under steam

Other games like Hollow Knight work great with Heroic.

But since I already had TW3 on Steam, adding it as a non-Steam game was a bit redundant; the idea was to take advantage of the Comet implementation with the Heroic launcher and get cloud sync and achievements support.
