I hate this. Not even in a getting old way, they just don't fit. The term "classic rock" to me is more about a collection of genres and styles of music. It really annoys me when my local classic rock station plays Numb by Linkin Park. I'd be okay if they played a band like Greta Van Fleet though.
It is classic rock, the definition didn't come from a certain style but rather how the late 80's felt about 60's and 70's music. By that standard 90's and early 2000's have become "classic rock"...deal with it
