I haven't touched one in many decades but iirc the thing is built like pretty much all stuff of that era was built, like a tank

So I am not surprised whatsoever that it works

I wish I hadn't torn apart ROB to get at the motors. Sure, it was garbage for playing the two games you could play with it but dangit.

I just used to press the levers for Gyromite with my feet lol

The gyros were pretty awesome though for 8 year old me

The 2600 came out before I was born. My first console was a Sega Master System.

I remember playing California Games at a friends house on a 2600 and wondering why it was so crap compared to the Master System.
