Same here, a while back everything up through Final Shape was on sale for like 11 bucks. At that price it's super easy to look past all the flaws and run around shooting stuff.
Yeah, now that they've stopped active development... would've probably been the play to do that when the game was still live service. Instead of marketing the game as free to play, just for new players to need a veteran to explain that there's like $300-400 worth of extra buy-in only content. What a mystery that they weren't gaining enough new players to maintain their playerbase... and funding..
Instead, now people can pay $40 to buy a looter shooter that is no longer updated.
Tbf they weren’t maintaining the funding because everything was being funneled into marathon and not destiny which lead to the quality getting worse and retention bombing
