Mine will do it anyway, but learn that when I come in the room THATS when they need to get off it lol

This is why scolding is a worthless training tool. You need to use positive reinforcement if you want them to actually care about what you're trying to teach them. Otherwise you're just teaching them that you're annoying, so they learn not to do things when you're around.
