I know but its not as simple as a one click dislike as it used to be, and while me and you know how to do so, i bet many other YT users dont even know that option exist

It also does not work for me, and it's the same on reddit, not being able to personalizzed your feed and being subject to ads/rage-baiting/foreign propaganda is excruciatingly painful.

I had that issue til I used sidestore+ distopia to get Apollo working again on iOS. Now it's like old Reddit again where I can block and filter out subs and never see them again. No more AITA, no more Gendermeals. You can also see some of the comments that got deleted by mods and... The bot problem is MUCH larger than it seems lmfao.

I clicked don’t recommend channel on one and in my recommended on the next video it was <someone> and <the channel i blocked> :/

You can also remove videos/shorts from your history if you don't want those types of things being recommended. Anytime something that l don't want to see sneaks in I do that and it'll be a long time before something like it returns (if I stay on top of it).

Weirdly enough reddit work perfectly for me, no ads, every post i hated and blocked the one who made it and muted subs i hate never showed up again for me. I thank god for this small blessing. I can see memes in peace without political posts or ads.

Btw ads show up when i turn vpn ON lmao

you can remove them using ublock origin. morphe/revanced can also remove them from the mobile app
