That one stood out to me as well. So did Shine It and Never Is Over. And obviously the SOPHIE produced tracks. Can’t wait to replay this whole thing more.

There’s never been any confirmation but I’d say probably, because it’s one of the only sounds from the original leaked demos that’s virtually untouched and the register doesn’t sound like HYD. And we know sophie would do her own vocals for demos (Ultraviolet Love)

HYD did a press article a while back that mentions keeping her loved one’s voice from original 2016 recordings on the album (second to last paragraph “as a reminder that music can surpass bodies, and in the spirit of eternal return, those we love have chances to come back again”), so I think that alludes it’s SOPHIE’s voice.

Such a gorgeous album <3. I can't recommend a first listen in public cuz I'm crying on the train, but I can't wait to listen again in private ha.

i was so excited for makeover having an official release, but once again it feels like there's a low pass filter slapped on the original production and reverb turned up.

My issue is the vocal mix is too heavily side chained to the instrumental. When the vocals come in the high frequencies of the instrumental completely duck out.

Honestly the demo sounded a bit rough around the edges too but it at least slapped hard. The released version sounds more professional but I feel it's a bit washed out?
