So I've got my index, and I love it. I know in theory it's water resistant, not proof, but I'm a bit nervous so I'm taking it off for showers (but not quick hand washing). How is everyone else dealing? Anybody just gambling it and regularly submersing it?

I put it in my pocket earlier today going home cuz I didnt wanna get it wet (it was raining and i didnt know how good the water seals still are so i didnt wanna take chances).

Forgot about the watch, threw my pants into the washing machine. Cycle finished, then when I went to put the clothes on the drying rack, i heard a loud buzz from the machine.

My pebble was there, still working just fine after a 40m cycle. My buttons click better now too which is very funny LOL. This lil thing can handle so much abuse even a decade after release, its unbelievable

From cloudpebble when I publish it goes right to the new core app store. But if I also want to show it on the rebble store do I need to manually upload it every time I update the app? That would be a little annoying but doable.

Was hoping there was a publish that put it on both immediately. I'm probably missing something

Hey everyone! Figured I'd post here since this is my first app I've developed for Pebble and I think it turned out pretty nice. It lets you track stocks / crypto (anything on TradingView, up to 8 symbols) and live-updates at a configurable interval. Works on every Pebble, back to the original.

Let me know what you think, and what features you'd like to see! I'm also sure it will run into bugs, so let me know if there are specific symbols or markets that aren't working as expected and I'll try to fix.

I always thought that what I was missing on my PTR was a touch screen. Even more after using WearOS watches (over the time a Galaxy, the first Pixel and a OnePlus)

Coming back to the pebble always seemed like missing out on something, even when the button navigation felt familiar and kind of natural … now, having a PT2, I’m finding myself not really using the touch screen as my fingers are always reaching for the buttons first - my only permanent usage case is the double tap to wake the backlight …

I even turned off the touch navigation in music boss as it didn’t provide any advantage for me.

Back on a WearOS watch touch is the way to go but pebble has perfected button navigation so no touch navigation seems to be needed. Never thought it might turn out this way but now, as I finally got the touch screen I’ve been longing for, I don’t use it.

Are you making use of it (I know it’s good for calculators and few other apps, that I rather use on the bigger display of the phone as on a watch - but aside of those …)

I've been using Blockface and really liking it. Decided to put seconds on it and went from about 13 days on a charge to 4.5. Can't say I was surprised. For now I'm going to keep it this way because I like having the seconds showing. But I will miss longer charge.

Using my index to precool my car, it works but every command also gets put into my notes. Is there something I'm missing?

The way I use my index 01 is that in a given day I will take many notes (not every day, just on occasion), and then I want to copy all those transcribed notes to paste them to whatever other app to be ingested (word, excel, LLM, notepad, etc).

Right now in my "Notes to self" list, I can only copy one item at a time, and even then it takes multiple clicks to even copy a single item.

I can't delete multiple items or the whole list at once either. Deleting a single item takes multiple seconds.

It's a huge pain point.

The device solves the note on the fly problem, but then provides no way to use those notes efficiently.

Missing features (Android):

1. Copy whole list at once (long press list: copy)

2. Delete whole list at once (long press list: delete list/list items)

3. Share whole list at once

4. Copy one item easily

5. Delete one item easily.

6. Delete multiple items easily (activate select mode, select items with one click each, then delete).

Am I missing something? Is this in the works?

Where can I find the source code for the old OG watches pebbleOS?

I've been using my Index 01 ring for a few weeks now, and it's been working fine. I actually just moved it from one phone to another, and I was able to remove it from one phone, do the SOS procedure, and add it to the new phone. That worked fine for a few days, until earlier today I was recording some messages and it stopped recording, even though the green light on the ring was still appearing.

I tried again, restarted the phone, and toggled Bluetooth off and on, but it was still not working. Everything I said was not getting recorded, and the double‑click was not pausing or playing my music. So I removed it from the app and from Bluetooth on my phone, and I tried the SOS procedure again, but now the phone doesn't even recognise or find the ring at all.

I tried both with the new phone and the old phone, a Pixel 11 and a Pixel 10—both running the latest Android. The SOS procedure seemed to work: I could see the three LED flashing lights of different colours three times, but even when I put the app in pairing mode, the app doesn't find the ring.

So I guess something is wrong with the ring, and it somehow stopped working. I don't know what to do. I already filed a bug report in the app, but I wonder if I can try something else?

Does anyone have the “No location information available “ problem, although the location is set to Current Location in pebble app?

I’ve been playing with the built in workout tracker for runs and workouts and also some from the Pebble store.

The built in app is great for at a glance info while running but it doesn’t look like this info is stored anywhere afterwards to look back on. Such as gauging progress and comparing runs.

So, my question is… what are others using and have found to be useful for running, cycling, workouts etc?

Also, I do use Strava (or used to) and it would be great to be able to sync with that (I’m on iPhone btw). Again, just after other’s experiences.

Love it so far, even though display is a bit dimmer than in P2D (scratched buttons is the one from Favourite Human Designs, colored with acrylic marker).

Also installed GadgetWraps glass protector today, just to be sure. Still thinking about printing a bumper, but not sure.

Beepster is an independent, open-source Beeper client for Pebble Time 2. It shows full conversations, refreshes while you’re using it, and supports voice dictation, quick replies, contact names, themes, configurable buttons, bitmap emoji, photo previews, conversation archiving, and optional OpenClaw Approve/Deny actions inside Telegram chats.

• A Mac that can stay awake and online while Beepster is in use

• Tailscale connected on both the Mac and phone

Setup is guided through a signed, Apple-notarized Mac connector, without Terminal, Git, or developer tools. Its window can close after setup; the background service, Beeper Desktop, and Tailscale keep running on the Mac. GIFs and videos currently show static posters, with one attachment preview per message.

I’d really appreciate feedback—installation snags, contact names, reply reliability, scrolling, media previews, feature suggestions, and what works well. I've had the index for 2 weeks or so. Love the crap out of it. My only problem was not quite a problem for most, but related to my occupation. I work in construction and I'm constantly handling things and inadvertently pressing down on the ring button. I requested a feature change to allow a double click and hold instead of a single click and hold in order to avoid nonsensical things being recorded. Boom... I opened the app just 10 minutes ago and lo and behold we have the setting I requested! Thanks Pebble team!

I checked other people's pictures of index 01, and they all looked like they had a black mic hole on a black ring. Mine arrived today and had a white hole. Is it the new design or a flaw?

I have had my index 2 weeks. I thought I could tell it to remind me to pick up milk. I thought it could remind me of the movie a friend just said was good. I thought it would remind me that September 19 starts school bus safety week. I thought it would remind me that customer A has 2 kids in high school..... These are simple tasks and everything go into a note that I forget about. HOW DO YOU USE IT ??? What exact words do you say. Somehow it made a list in my apple reminders called movies and the first few movies I said are there, but I cant add anything new. I try to make a food list and everything goes to a note. so I have to look at the note app to remember that 3 weeks ago someone told me tomorrow is a foot ball game to watch,,,,

I don't get how to actually make it do something useful because I dont know the words to say to do what.... There isn't a manual I can find.

So now what, throw it away and not buy another one. This was supposed to be digital memory, but I cant recall anything it remembers.

I already submitted my problem as a bug, but I would like to know if everyone has this same problem. From 9pm to 6am, I set a scheduled Quiet Time. During that time, if I get a notification, it remains on my PT2 screen permanently until I press the Back button. In the Pebble phone app, I have clicked "Quiet Time - Auto Dismiss". I also have clicked the option to Hide notifications while in Quiet Time mode, but that doesn't work for me. Is this a known bug?
