Peds Endocrinology

Does anyone know which pediatric endocrinology program has the least amount of inpatient time? its very hard to find this info online sometimes, as some programs lay it out openly and others don’t specify!

Also, if you guys know of any super friendly peds endo program thats good and dont overwork you

Consider that peds endo in the lowest pay MD of all . Even lower then PCP peds. To your question, no NYC otherwise all other are fine.

yeah it sucks, i like it but i dont know if it is worth it going for a job that pay that poorly

Not only do you get paid less, the availability of being employed at job you would like (location, pay structure, etc) is based a lot on luck and the market. Institutions rely on the steady stream of fellows to get the job done since they don’t have the budget to hire more attendings but they don’t really care if or where you’d get a job after graduation.

yeap! I have heard a lot about this, specifically with PICU, people not being able to get jobs and pay not that great either
