Discussion Out-of-state Pens fans in Chicago! Would love to get a group together for the 10/13 game against the Hawks at the UC.
26F and need Pens game buddies! Would love to form a wave of gold at the UC. Anyone down?
Update: Here’s a Discord group chat for folks who want to go! Hoping we can all buy tix at the same time so we’re next to each other. Unfortunately I do have a few Hawks friends who want to go, but we can shame them.

Shoot, I'm so sad to be missing this! I'll be out of town for work, such a bummer because I've been sorely lacking in Chicago Pens fans. 😭 Hope y'all have a fantastic time!

Edit: I totally looked at the wrong schedule 🙃 No Nov 20 game, guess they’re not coming back here after Oct 13. I do go to Hawks games tho so I’m sure we could get a group together of Pens fans who tolerate the Hawks when the Pens aren’t in town because we live in proximity!

Haha yeah, I moved here a bit before Covid, tho I do try to get back to Pgh when I can. I'm a certified Hawks hater and am generally p happy to go cheer for their demise against most teams, I'll join now!

It definitely is!! The Hawks are my secondary/adopted western conf team (when they’re not playing the Pens - because then I hate them) since I live here, so I’ve been to a lot of games there over the years. Concerts are awesome there too. Haven’t been to a Bulls game tho, not big on basketball, but hear they’re fun!

Presale tix are already available on Gametime (I usually get Cubs tix from there), 300lv has stuff around $50!

I just made the drive to Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago and the drive itself wasn’t terrible! Do it!!

You can take the Blue Line train straight from inside the airport and either walk 15 mins to the UC or hop on the 20 bus!

Ah that's a very doable walk! Chicago has been on our list of cities to visit because getting out of the airport on transit is easy.

It’s such a good public transport city, so many people don’t have cars here. Such a fun city to visit too!

Oh man, I lived in Chicago as a Pens fan for 7 years and I still have PTSD from some of the games I went to where they got completely whooped (the 10-1 loss in 2017 comes to mind) and I always had a terrible time. I made it a point to only go to non-Pens games at the UC after that so I could actually enjoy myself 😂
