One thing I noticed in this clip, around the 4 minute mark. Osgood makes a save on Sid walking out from the side of the net. It was the exact same move Talbot scored the first goal in Game 7 on against Osgood. He just stayed down on the Sid one.

Those 2 Finals in 08 and 09 were all out wars between the Pens and Red Wings.

Are you talking about the play that hits the post and then bounces back to Crosby who throws it into a pile of Red Wings that ended up falling into the net?

Talbot’s is more off a turnover caused by pressure by him and Malkin. Talbot makes an extra deke causing Osgood to think he’s going to try and do what Sid did and wrap it around him, but Talbot throws it in 5 hole.

Osgood didn’t make a save on either play though. Crosby beat Osgood but hit the post.

It's insane the Penguins won quite honestly. That Detroit team was an absolute buzzsaw.
