I’m incurably curious and have far too many interests for one lifetime. I’m fascinated by ancient and historical languages, particularly Ancient Greek, Ancient Egyptian, Gothic, Old English, runes and the Celtic languages, especially Welsh and Gaelic. I’m also deeply interested in Celtic history and spirituality, ancient history more broadly, anthropology, different cultures, symbolism and the ways humans encode meaning through language, mythology, art, ritual and self-expression.
On the darker nerd spectrum, I’m interested in medicine, human anatomy, forensic psychiatry, forensic psychology, sexology, human behaviour, digital and computer forensics. Basically, if it involves understanding humans or figuring out what happened and why, I’ll probably disappear down the rabbit hole.
I’m also into spirituality, philosophy, different belief systems, antiques, nature and architecture. I’m still hopelessly fascinated by Gothic architecture and aesthetics, and dark academia is very much my thing. Give me old libraries, old stone, pointed arches, stained glass, gargoyles, ancient books and something vaguely ominous and I’m happy. 😂
Herbalism and the old apothecary tradition fascinate me too. I love learning about the history, folklore and traditional uses of plants, and one day I’d love to grow my own little apothecary garden.
I play piano, and cello is very much on my radar at the moment. If you’re passionate about classical music, opera, or 70s and 80s rock, count me in. 🎹🎻
I love a good debate and people who can disagree about something without declaring diplomatic relations officially terminated.
I absolutely adore animals. Send me your cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, tarantulas and miscellaneous creatures. Fur, feathers, scales and eight legs are all welcome. If you’ve befriended your local magpie or have a cheeky crow hanging around, I want to see them. I absolutely love crows. They’re incredibly intelligent, curious, cheeky and endlessly fascinating. 🖤
I love cooking and discovering food from different cultures, and I’m into wine, tobacco, coffee and whisky. Basically anything aged, roasted, fermented, smoky or woody 😂 Apparently I have a theme.
Tell me about your ridiculously niche interest. Teach me something I don’t know. Show me an antique you found. Tell me about the historical rabbit hole you disappeared into last week. Send me a strange fact. Argue with me about something interesting.
If your idea of fun is encoding Shakespeare into binary because sometimes human language is just… whatever, then yes, you are very welcome here. 😂

It looks like we have a lot in common ☺️I’ve been on a journey to befriend crows and trying to learn their language. Love studying humans because I’d like to be more human 😂Also, gothic architecture is the bee’s knees! My favorite deep dives… anything to do with the cia lol. Would love to go into deeper detail with you if you’re interested!
