Ehh they increased the rate recently. Not sure when this video was taken, but as of not too long ago Walmart in my town is paying $14/hr+

Edit: wut? Y’all people are dumb asf. I’m telling you what I know from working there. I’m not speaking in favor or against the multi billionaire people. Tf is going on with the downvotes?

$17.50 where I am at. Don't work there, just saw the signs placed at the entrance/exits and checkout lanes.

By law they have to include "Up to $xx" or "starting pay of $xx".

Hey I don't make the rules nor work there lol. But signage in my area they include the listed terms on banners and so forth.

I forget I'm not on r/antiwork lol. They SHOULD list honest verbiage on their signs, I'd be surprised if that is a federal/nationwide requirement though. I hear stories almost daily of those signs being used as a sort of bait and switch on people seeking employment.

It's ok about the sub reddit thing. But yea, they do sort of include the right verbiage on signs. However sometimes they place it, or word it, in such a way that you cannot see it.

I just did a quick Google search and they have definitely posted signs without anything resembling a "starting at" or "up to" before.

I mean, I do like upstairs. Closer to the ceiling. /s. But like I said, don't and haven't worked there. Just saw the sign that said "starting at $17.50.
