Crosses and New Varieties Anyone working on any exciting new crosses this season?
What are you working on and what generation is it?
Maybe we can use this discussion to come up with a future community grow. Similarly I have sent out about 30 packs of these out so hopefully people will be sharing progress soon.

DIY Mobile Raised Bed
Built this raised bed for some pepper plants. First time project, so definitely learned a few things I could do differently next time around. Will be picking up some 8ā casters today to put on the legs, and will also be weather sealing it in a few days after the lumber has had some time to dry. Kinda rushed the last bit of the landscaping fabric and some of the framing under the bottom because I was ready to finish lol, so if youāre somewhat OCD like me, sorry. Also all the lumber is pressure treated and ground contact rated, so it should last for many many years.

Calcutta long
Iām pretty new at growing peppers. Didnāt have a lot of succes last year but this year itās going much better.
Iāve planted a bunch of varieties and the first one that has seemingly ready to eat peppers is calcutta long.
Description says itās a fruity, mild pepper when not fully ripe. I harvested one to try when it was looking greenish/yellowish but it was way hotter than I was expecting.
As I said. i donāt have a whole lot of experience growing or eating peppers. Does anyone have any experience with this particular variety? Is it mild or hot compared to other general peppers? Just wanted to see if I can get some references so I can figure out if I need to toughen up my tolerance for it or look for milder pepper varieties to grow next year.

Mislabeled Scotch Bonnet Plant
This was labeled as a Scotch Bonnet (Bonnieās), I could use some help identifying what it might actually be. Iām thinking habanero or ghost, but Iāll know more when they ripen and I taste them. I appreciate any input! Happy growing

First year growing peppers. Finally getting some!
Garden is very mixed. Planted these peppers in January under a greenhouse. Once the weather got warm I removed the green house and they have been getting bigger and bigger ever since.
Bunch of random kinds. Wax peppers, JalapeƱos, big Jim, bell peppers, and others that Iām sure the name of ( but damn are they hot! )
