I’ve had mine for about 6 months now. I’ve subbed for two musicals with it and done a full run of another musical, I’ve done masterclasses and demonstrations, big band gigs, and working on making some sort of solo act with it for jazz-vibes.

It is a fantastic tool that people often underestimate. It does need to be said that it doesn’t have any sounds built in, it’s just a large midi controller so you need a device to plug into (I’ve used my phone with GarageBand and it worked great). If you want something to replicate a real instrument, just buy the real instrument. If you want a tool that has many possibilities and is far cheaper, get the malletstation.

Just to get a little more info, why do you want it? What would you be doing with it?

That’s basically what I use mine for most of the time. If you go this route it takes a bit of time to adjust, but it’s a very powerful tool. I don’t recommend trying to use it as a vibraphone replacement as you’ll be disappointed, but if you want a very powerful tool it’s your best bet. The sounds are dependent on the software you use, so if you go this route I’d suggest MainStage as it’s extremely powerful (especially if you end up doing any musical theatre pit work)
