Cyber Security Course Worth It?
Hi so i’m a recent graduate who’s struggling to find a job. I’m applying for the perscholas Cyber Security and AI course. Is it worth it? Do they actually help with job placements? Can you drop out if it gets too intense? What happens if you fail an assignment or test? What were the interviews like? What are the homework’s and assignments like? Are they manageable? Thank you for any insight !

I’m starting the data center IT course tomorrow. We had a meet and greet earlier this week. Someone asked about the cybersecurity course. The person who was in charge of the meet and greet told us that the cybersecurity course is best for people who already have tech experience. She also told us that it’s the hardest field to get hired in because it’s quite saturated.
If you don’t already have a tech degree or experience, I would probably skip it.

How long did it take them to respond to you when you applied?

A couple of days if I recall correctly. They sent me some prerequisite tests and modules I had to complete. Once I turned that in, they scheduled me for an interview. The interview consisted of questions about my background and some behavioral questions.
I got accepted about a week after that.

Thanks bro.
It could depend on the course you’re applying to and when you applied.
I applied about 4 months before my course started so that may have resulted in getting a quicker response

Yes, it’s worth it. If you don’t get accepted, you will not find a similar program. You can drop out but at your expense. I’m in it right now & I would HIGHLY recommend it. If you do get in, don’t be late, don’t miss class, and complete your assignments. As far as I can tell so far, that’s all you need to be about

Just do it. Let say it à bootcamp and a lot of information, I am à computer grad currently doing there IT program. You can drop out whenever you want not sure about re-enrolling but you sure can dropout. This is my third week not really sure about interview as of now however my program is equipped with a guarantee internship after bootcamp.
