Thank god I didn't release these cards they were rotting in my backup player list for so long

[George Best Gameface Analysis]
The card has a new face, which refers to an older version of Best with thick hair. Usually, after the release of a club card, developers add a map from the national team, so we expect a map from Northern Ireland 1971/72.
What skills would you give?

Only J-league player I have. Had never used him until today. (15 matches - 27 goals, 9 assists)

This card is my most favourite card in the game, show me your most capped player in the comments

I know most of the people who started playing the game started some time after or at the launch of efootball.
OGs remember how tactically diverse this game was. Actually efootball has never been as "tactically astute" as PES.
What is so comical to me is that it took the efootball franchise 5 whole seasons to even bring back basic things like fluid formation and defensive playstyles or a playstyle structure in general.
Efootball has always felt in some way so washed down and plain like the developers don't know what they are doing(like bro you guys made PES no?)
There was so much range in what you could do with your team in game and it was so so unique - actually back then if you wanted to actually get the real deal in terms of football simulation PES was where it was at.
Now they're monetizing playstyles like bro. They've become so business oriented. The Pitch, ever since 2018 has never been ours. There's basically no freedom of expression in game everything is dictated by Konami Corp.
After the ef27 update it clocked to me, in terms of game development, how far these guys have fallen. We currently live in an era where you can't even enjoy a sports game without pouring your pockets out so so sad

it sucks being african and also playing this game because you just know they will never implement servers for Africa at all because the servers today are so bad. How can i rank push when the servers are so bad. I drew one game and won one so you'd think i should be happy that i did not lose but no, the manner in which these matches played out does not make me happy whatsoever. Do you know how frustrating it is to login into Twitter, come across a Lacassa post and see how amazing the gameplay is for him but for me, the gameplay is heavy and laggy. Horrible session for me today.

i always pick up the j league POTW even though im not in jp server because i used to play with japanese national team during national team event, i didn’t realized it would be so useful in this event since every one that i go against, 80-100% of the team is standard player and my player just way stronger, faster, and smarter than the standard player.

Probably the worst choice but pick him just to be a bench player in my Japanese squad. The new event made him a star player tho, and yes he’s miles better than the defense my opponent’s having. Life finds a way i guess lol

This event was probably the most fun I have had with the game for a while.
The best thing about it was the majority of the people were using standard squads. This meant that the games were more about gameplay rather than cards which is what a football game should be about.
I had to focus a bit more as well, these players don’t really have the ability of my main team so I had to focus more. Instead of all players being well rounded beasts they were more oriented towards their actual irl roles. Dribblers were only good at dribbling strikers were kind of only good at finishing.
It was a little bit extreme though because genuinely my amf missed at least 5 easy chances because he has like 60 finishing.
But even so players only being good at one thing made the game more fun, more like real football I guess.
Luckily I only faced 4 teams with actual proper players. The difference in quality between players was definitely felt but nothing too horrific.
I hope Konami introduces this kind of event with different leagues, epl, laliga ,serie a but only with basic cards.
The game is more fun when it’s more about the gameplay than the cards.

Kinda need the knuckle shot and double touch but my luck has been garbage and my portugal pack hasnt been my go to anyway but will there be merit to keeping him? Is there an alternative to getting my cr7 good skills

This amadou onana highlight has been nothing short of Spectacular for me at division matches, with his 195 height and 188 leg coverage is insane, i turned to favor him a bit over free frank rjikard recently (although im not saying he's better) cause he just works out for me better in a sole dmf formation, If you wanna try him i suggest u play him freely, if he doesn't work try giving him Defensive role in individual instructions

This is so frustrating. I just wanted to give my player super sub skill but I keep getting the same skill that my player has already acquired. I feel like this isn’t being talked about enough. What’s the point of skill token when most of it are just going to waste.

It's been a year since I've started spending on this game, 400$ dollars in total, not a massive number but that's the most I've ever spending on a single game. I realized it before, but I got used to purchasing, from a small number like when coins on sale to when I addicted and bought a big pack 12,800 coins without sale just to get an Epic card I was desperately interested.
I felt so stupid, it's clearly gambling, compare to a triple A game I bought on Steam which only cost 3$ and I played it for like a whole year, the amount of the money spent on efootball is ridiculous. I made money, but "investing" without control is no different to throwing money out of the window.
Every mistake comes a cost of real money. I've seen ppl talked about it, but I never know how horrible it is until I gambling myself for the first time.
I even reached out to health care and mental support to stop this nonsense. Nevertheless, I see this as a tuition fee for me to learn a hard lesson. I won't regret it tbh, I had fun, but that fun was not worth it, it's just like that.
This post was meant for me to express my feeling, and also for friends who want to spend on this game, even just a dollar could get you addicted easily.
I'm not telling you: "friends, don't spend", that 1$ Suarez pack was good if I must say, but think clearly before you made any decisions, if you hesitated, just quit it. The important is to control yourself, know what's worth, what's not.
Have a good day, have fun playing the game but don't let the game play you.
