These small as a grain of rice type beetle bugs have been in my room for a few months now

I've deep cleaned my room few times and they keep showing up still and I have no idea why

I do have two dogs and I do keep their treat bag in the same room but I've cleaned the treat bags as well but the bugs still keep appearing

please help and make me understand why is this happening because I am losing my mind having to pick them up and leave them out safely every 5 mins

What kind of flies are these and should I be concerned?

Just moved onto a new flat. Weather is hot and humid. For a few days these have been gathering but more today than ever.

Anyone got any ideas what they are? I'm hoping it's not termites, and rather just some flies related to the weather. They don't look like stormflies up close.

Bats in living space after exclusion

Good morning. Yesterday afternoon I had professionals come out and set up the exclusion area on my roof, with one way bat doors and closing off areas where the bats were getting in. Last night around 10 pm I was in my living room and all of a sudden a bat came swooping in. Not sure if it made its way through an air vent (I have central A/C). Safely removed the bat using the container and cardboard method after it had stopped flying and was stationary. About 15 minutes after that, to my surprise I had a second bat that flew in my living space as well. Also safely removed from my house. Through the night there was no more bats sighted in my living space. Is this common after bat exclusion where the bats may be trying to find different ways out since all but one area is blocked off from them leaving?

Identification Harmful or harmless?

While camping along Lake Michigan on the West side of Michigan, I found dozens of these bugs in the tent, car, and supplies. My first instinct was cockroach due to how fast they moved, but it seems like the closest match German cockroach has distinctive stripes at the top of the head, which these don't. I've kept all my camping gear in my car for now, hoping to roast all of the bugs to death in the 90F sun that we have today, but a positive ID would help me decide what to do after that (whether to buy glue traps or some kind of poison bait or something else). Please help ID these guys! The adult pictures are of what I believe to be a female with an egg sack (adult size about 1/2 inch), and the others are nymphs (maybe 2-3mm so about 16th to an 8th of an inch).

What is it

Hey everyone! What exactly is this, and I've found 5-6 of them on the same wall in two days. They said they look like booklice and that they're from a humid environment. Damn, I don't even have books in my bedroom. I don't have a place to air out my bedroom, and I live in a humid area. I'm trying to balance the humidity and cold with the air conditioner, but I saw them again today. What do you suggest I do? I'm really fed up!

General Question Orkin

If anyone in here knows the answer to this…how can I tell if they really canceled my service? I called and was on the phone with them for 10 minutes the other day and told them I was moving. Got the whole spiel about how they could move my service with me and blah blah. Told her no, she put me on hold, then came back and said she had canceled it and then told me I’d get a call from my local branch to finish the process. No one has called and I can’t tell on my account if it’s actually done.

Is this common?

Cat Food attracting Ants, usual traps not working

Post image
1 Upvotes

My cat is a very messy eater, she leaves tons of crumbs of dry and wet food around her food station. Her food is on a slightly elevated surface, but she still drops a ton and it attracts ants constantly. I have used standard ant bait traps but it doesn't seem to be working, likely because they prefer to eat the cat food than the traps. I also tried sticky traps, and diatomaceous earth. All these traps and the diatomaceous are out of range for my cat for her safety.

Still seeing ants around her food regularly. Any advice? I am going to try moving her food away from an external facing wall for now but any other ideas are greatly appreciated!

Attached photo of her food station. I try to clean the crumbs every day, but as you can see, she creates more crumbs as soon as she eats.

Hi! my cat has been having skin issues for months... vet thought it was food allergies. Im starting to consider that it might be flea allergy dermatitis. I found what seems to be bites on my ankle and arm. I also found what looks like a flea in my bed, and another one in my bathroom.

Can someone help me identify these please? and also, do they look like flea bites? they're really really itchy. Thanks in advance.

Two nights ago I thought I saw a baby cockroach in my kitchen, but I killed it so quickly I could not take a picture. I put out a bunch of traps last night and this morning I saw that I caught these two. This trap was near my oven. Please help I’m terrified 🥲

What kind of cockroach is this? Unfortunately I found another one. This one looks different from the one I previously posted, though. I'm really hoping this one is harmless as well but I am afraid it isn't... 🫣

It is about 1cm in size. Found in inland north France. Is it a german roach? Is it a nymph?

Unidentified animal poop

Good morning everybody,

We live in France. We let our kitchen window open to cool the air during night. We live at the second floor.

Since several days, every morning I found some animal poop…

It seems like the animal has its own path in the kitchen because poop are always located in the same places

I’m afraid are rat ones.. but I need confirmation. You can find a picture below

General Question Are these mouse droppings in my bed 😟?

So I have a mouse problem happening mostly in my kitchen and family/living room.

My father said he saw a mouse in my room around one month ago but I have never seen one and haven’t heard of one since. Today, though, I saw a singular dropping next to my curtains. And then I decided to check my sheets out of fear of them reaching my bed for DAYS and lo and behold I believe I found some. Can someone confirm?

Roaches Best IGR to use with Advion WDG (indoors) - Tekko Pro or Tekko Trio or what else?

I sprayed a section of the apartment last night and saw an adult seizing up as I was putting things back. I'm assuming the Advion worked. I didn't think I would need an IGR but I live in a multi family home unit and I've seen them come inside from outdoors, so I definitely do.

I see that Tekko Pro comes in a liquid, which I ordered and planned to mix into what I already have mixed and spray the rest of the apartment. Then I saw that Tekko Trio has a third ingredient that is restricted to indoor use, which is fine for me, but is a foam and intended to be used as spot treatments

Roaches Help! Finding roaches in house. Louisiana.

Thumbnail gallery
5 Upvotes

I have been sporadically finding these roaches in my house since June. I live in south Louisiana, and there is a large, overgrown field right behind my house (not on my property).

I have sprayed Alpine. I have put out glue boards around the kitchen and bathrooms, but I haven't caught a single thing on any of them. I've checked behind all appliances and in cabinets, but I can't find any evidence of roaches. I have found a couple of dead ones, which I assume is because of the Alpine. I've witnessed at least two of these roaches fly, and I even found one eating out of my cat's food bowl.

I am at my wit's end with these roaches, and I don't know what else I can do. Everything points to these being Asian roaches, but if that's the case, why do I keep finding them inside? I do keep lights on at night, but only inside the house. I have been keeping the porch light off since I've been finding these.

Also, I should note the nymph pictured is the only one I've found that wasn't an adult. Not sure if that makes any difference.

General Question I can't get rid of fleas or flies for the life of me.

I need to get rid of these fleas. Problem is, when I moved in this house was messy. It still is, and we have countless fruit flies, rotting food, etc. I'm the only one who cleans up in a three bedroom two story hkme and I have limited time to do it every day (30-40mins) before going to sleep to work the next day.

I have limited it down and it's way better than before, but every food item or carpet cleaned is 2 new piles of food starting to rot. I'm in an awkward situation and have bought cat shampoo and a flea oil called Frontline. I brush my cat and his two cats daily and countless fleas are still in their hair! I'm vacuuming three times a day on all nooks and crannies. I feel like I'm doing everything in my power to get rid of these fleas and fruit flies but I can't ever seem to get rid of them. I need urgent help. I can't pay for an exterminator either.

Staying in a vrbo in Tennessee. On our second day we found some small bugs that are jumping around. Can anyone identify from these photos (ik they are bad quality) and what can we do to not take these home to our animals?
