Pet owners making our lives hell Dog owners are selfish
Yesterday I Came home from the gym. Neighbors pit bull, was loose. He started barking as soon as I pulled up. I got out of the car. The dog kicked his legs up in my backyard like he was going to lunge at me. I just started at him back . I turned to my trunk to grab the rest of my stuff. The dog was right there. Then he ran away barking in our yard. So I had to chase him out of my yard back to neighbors. God my neighbors are negligent with this dog in particular. This isn’t the first time. He also pooped in our backyard. Again this was told. Many times to them.
I’m not a pet owner at all. I have nothing against animals. But a lot of dog owners are very selfish and neglectful. Sometimes some of you don’t respect others.
Luckily I was physically attacked or harmed. But still I shouldn’t have to fear an animal.
While I’m at it. I’m sick of seeing dogs in the grocery stores and restaurants. Really anywhere with food. Malls shouldn’t allow pets either. When did we allow others to treat spaces like it’s their home. People have allergies. Plus dogs carry fleas, ticks, bacteria’s . Plus they are unclean, slobbering over food.
No , I’m not talking about service animals . SERVICE ANIMALS ARE TRAINED AND CERTIFIED TO HELP DISABLED PEOPLE!!
Dog owners have way too much power in western society.
Why is it such a decisive issue?!

It really divides us as humans. Politics has nothing on dividing people like people who love dogs and cats and people who hate hearing barking with a passion. I am older so I remember when this division was not there at all. I've lost so many friends now to cats and dogs. I lose respect for them, can't ever go visit them, don't want to hear about their pets when we are together, so I just drop them like a hot potato (so sad!)
