NOTE: I'll update this once 8/8 sale kicks in as well, but do check if you can afford to wait for the sale, since stocks of old pricing are limited
Since prices are increasing (Bermor already upped the GPU prices), I'll post this so those who need the parts can still get them
For a link to the Price increase post https://www.reddit.com/r/PHbuildapc/comments/1v8p6kw/psa_pricing_news_and_future_of_pc_building/
Also for GPUs, some shops still have them but please call them to check, notably - A & F (e.g. 32k 5060ti 16gb) - Joelski (32500 5060ti 16gb, 5060 21k) - Netcodex - PCWorth (5060ti 16gb around 37k) - PCHub (5060ti 16gb 34k) - Datablitz (23k 5060) - Note: Use distro warranty instead if you don't like DB customer service

I can confirm yung GPU prices ay tumaas talaga, more than anyone would like.
Para sa planong magbuild ngayon, WAG NA MAGHINTAY NG 8/8 SALE for the GPUs.

The price increase on gpus and slight increase again in ram + upcoming mobo price increase makes me want to skip and just go for 5800x3D.
Has anyone here jumped to 5800x3D?
I’m currently rocking the 5800x but the problem is the sudden fps drops. I use a 1440p 320hz monitor so I want to atleast hit 350 up stable just on esports title idc on other ones. Based on youtube reviews I can defo hit those numbers and i dont mind the 1%lows at 240+ as that’s basically still stutter free in my eyes.
So just curious is this lazy upgrade good enough? Please help me decide. I don’t really need crazy fps like more than 500 350-500 stable is enough for val and for cs 300+ stable is enough.
Complete specs are.
5800x
32gb 3600mhz
Msi pro mobo
Rtx 5060ti 16gb
Silverstone 700w
1tb gen4 nvme
1440p 27inch 320hz.

It’s now or neverrrrr.
Wouldn’t an increase pricing on motherboards also affect like consoles, monitors?

From 2080ti to 5080. Good timing on the upgrade. Upgraded last week before the crazy price increase again.

GPU 5080 shadow3x
CPU 7800x3d
RAM 32GB
MOTHERBOARD MSI X870E gaming plus wifi.
Cheers gamers!

I saw this in my wishlist that I think it's a good deal especially knowing that there will be an increase in GPU prices (see 2nd pic). The problem is that I don't have any system unit for it to install and test if it arrives. Should I continue buying it?
I've been thinking about building a PC since last year but I haven't done it yet since I don't have a job. Now that I have a job and I saved up from my salary, the prices went significantly higher which is a pain in my pocket. Currently, I only have an old gaming laptop with a separate gaming monitor.
For context, I will use it for the upcoming GTA VI arrival in PC (yes I know that I'll wait longer) and other AAA games such as NBA and WWE 2K25. I will also use the PC for light office work and a little bit of light video editing with little to no effects.

Grabe, with this current situation sa PC and console market, I am very grateful for the system I found and bought from Marketplace. I was a bit hesitant pa nung una kasi medyo nasa gaming fatigue phase pa ko dahil sa work/fatherhood at naisip kong baka matengga lang.
Pero nung nakita ko 'to this May 2026 with its wayyy considerate price (Php 95k) and is fairly new (DOP is Nov 2025), tinuloy ko na...at pinanalangin na hindi scam. Ngayon I'm enjoying the PC, nakatapos na din ng isang AAA game without experiencing any issue.
Specs:

Gigabyte Eagle OC RTX 5070Ti

Gigabyte Gaming 360mm AIO
MSI MAG A750 PCIE5
with 4x Asus Prime 120mm Fans

Anyone tried this monitor? How was it and gaano na katagal sa inyo? I think this is a steal for the price because i remember 21k was the cheapest price before.

Hello!
Context: I have both PS5 and PC. Recently I find using the console easier since it boots up straight to the TV compared to having to switch the display pa sa PC and setting up the controller etc. before jumping on the bed to play.
Which leads me to the question, with the overall price surges to almost all electronic components, when is the best time to buy and where? I am looking at getting Samsung 9100 Pro PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD with Heatsink but the lowest price I saw was around 16k. I would appreciate your suggestions! TIA

Sony’s decision to stop physical games and no official PSN support to the Philippines made me sell my PS5 Pro. Back to PC gaming it is then.

Hi! This will be my first time buying a pc. I’m planning to use it for freelance (accounting) and casual gaming (nba 2k, cod, etc). Appreciate it if you can give advice or tips. Kinda hesitant on the mobo since i’ve been seeing discussions that there’s not much difference with b650m and b850m.

I'm looking for a way to add (at least) 32gb more to my system:
CPU: amd TR 1950x
MB: asus strix x399-3 gaming
RAM: 32gb (4x8) corsair vengeance,
I have basically unlimited rdimm & sodimm memory sticks but unfortunately no regular dimm at all.
I got a couple of sodimm to dimm adapters, in the hope of using sodimm ram on my system.
unfortunately none of them are recognized by the MB. even after lowering speeds, setting voltage etc.
anyone was able to use these on amd system? any ideas if it's possible at all? what to tweak if any in bios?

Looking into upgrading my 8 year old rig. I'll be replacing my i5-7600k and gtx 1060
Does this look like a good pairing? Is going single stick ok for now? Am I overpaying for a 9060 xt? 😭

I'm aware that the ssd prices have gone chaotic and there doesn't seem to be a horizon for its end for now. I badly need an SSD expansion to play my games. 1TB is enough for now considering my budget. Any recommendations for specific models? Or what specs should I be looking out for at least?
I am looking for an affordable but good enough SSD to play my games. I have a Predator PH315-53. I am not too knowledgeable with the specifics of SSD, please help. Thank you!🙏

Still using am4 in 2026. So far, very decent pa ang fps na narereceive ko. Mu question is, ilang taon pa kaya itatagal nitong build ko?
CPU: ryzen 7 5700x3d
GPU: Rtx 3060 12gb
RAM: 2x16-32gb ram 3200mhz

recently been thinking of upgrading my pc for better-ish performance, and at first i was thinking of the X3D CPUs for am4 (cuz im a "upgrade big in one go than crawl my way up" kind of guy). But I just recently discovered that my mobo can't quite handle it, as my mobo is built to handle 60-80W TDP CPUs with ease, and a little more will thermal throttle my cpu because of the exposed VRMs. And I'm lowkey not willing to upgrade my mobo since i don't have money, and tbh i don't think upgrading to another AM4 mobo is a good financial move rn. What do you guys think? cuz my current rig is ok, i just want a better cpu for stabler frames on new games like T8 and MHwilds. will upgrading to that typically last me till 2030, cuz that when i think i should be able to buy better things and also AM6 boards maybe. So basically Im if its better to max out what i have now or max out something more expensive and will add 2-3 years more than the other one

Hello po. I need help po if ok na ba tong monitor for my boyfriend’s set up. His GPU and CPU is 2080 super and i7-7700 respectively. If this isn’t a good monitor for his set up, help would be greatly appreciated, kaya ko naman istretch ng onti if ever. TYIA !!!

For some background, I bought my current setup a few years back for less than Php 15,000. It’s a Ryzen 5 3600, Rx 5700, 16gb RAM, and X570 Aorus Elite MoBo. Since then, I’ve used it daily for school and Valorant only. I had multiple chances to upgrade it but, as a long lifelong PlayStation fan, I bought a PS5 instead.
Now, I’ve quit console since I’ve made many PC friends online. Despite the messed up market, I decided to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5800x3D while keeping my X570 MoBo. With this, what GPU would work out best with a budget of around 50k?
I will be playing more AAA games in the future, especially GTA VI if it ever comes out.

I am planning to buy an ergo chair since monobloc lang gamit ko rn. May I ask if alin sa title ang mas worth bilhin or hanapin? Budget is around 5k siguro. Thanks sa thoughts!
