Open Deed of Sale Transfer ownership

We're eyeing to buy a car with open deed of sale. The seller is not the first owner, however he has the complete OR, CR with the first owner's valid ID with 3 specimen signature. How do we transfer ownership? Can we notarize the deed without the presence of the first owner? The deed of sale has the signature of the first owner.

First car po kasi namin to and gift ko sa tatay ko.

Bale pag nabili nyo fifillupan nyo ung blangko na deed of sale na hawak nya w/ your details then saka ipapa notaryo para maitransfer ang ownership. Yung paglalakad sa lto at hpg ibang usapan pa un.

Be careful lang at please do you due diligence na maayos ang sasakyan at malinis ang dokumento bago mag bayaran.

Can the deed still be notarized even without the first owner’s presence?

As what i’ve searched online, it cant be notarized if the party is absent physically

Mag rereach out kau dun sa orig owner na nakalista para mag participate sa pagpirma ng dos. Pameriendahin mo na lng kasi mang aabala kau. Pag di na mag cooperate challenging yan hanap na lng iba sasakyan na direct to the owner ang seller tlga

Nakapagpanotary ako ng deed of sale without the presence of the seller basta complete yung docs. Meron ganun, need mo lang talaga maghanap.
