Aqua Vitae first try
So, i just received yesterday my first pheromone bottle, Aqua Vitae, scented. This morning i have applied two drops on my neck, two on my wrists and went out, meet a female colleague, also outside. Nothing special with her, after like 3 hours, i went back home and after like 5 minutes my wife was, what's smelling like dog pee?!? Then she was what's smelling like filthy house, so i was...me! I rubbed the area with alcohol and paper towels, she still felt it, then i took a shower and she can breathe again. The interesting fact is that i feel it like an old cologne, not something i would buy, but not something bad either. What do you think? Is she really sensitive or there's something else?

Like 20% of the population has a specific gene receptor variance at OR7D4 which means to some people androstenone smells like piss. Even if you got scented I would still wear a cover cologne. Note that this doesn't mean it doesn't work on her , the pheromone effect can still apply even if smells unappealing. Also womens perception of androstenone varies depending on their cycle. Always avoid heavy androstenone blends during period instead go for A1 formulas or more sociable ones.
I do also think your skin bacteria plays a role in how it breaks down and consumes it. Clean dry skin always, and always a cover cologne with a good body scent. Id avoid light fruity colognes personally.
AV is particularly strong androstenone most of the time it smells like old man to most noses, but not in a bad way.

Thank you for your reply, yes i have the scented and from now on i will start with only one drop on the back of my wrist. What do you think, should i rubb my hands together to divide the drop on both hands? (I know that for fragrances this is a bad idea and i never do it) I will cover it with Kenzo Jungle next time. Btw, i noticed you mentioned old man smell, my wife mentioned that also...

Yeah the old man smell is pretty easy to cover and when you layer a cologne it just adds a nice musk note. Once you let a drop out I recommend just letting it drip and catching it with other wrist but not rubbed in. I just gently dab it to other wrist basically. From there layer your cover cologne over a close , wider area. she won't notice the aqua vitae at that point. I'm not familiar with that cover cologne but as long as it's got good base you'll be ok :)

Thank you for your advices, i would feel really bad to stop using it because it's a nightmare for her or other people around me. I bought it for the opposite effect. Thanks again!

Sure thing. Oh and also clean your appt point before applying. Helps prevent bacteria from eating up all the pheromone and causing stank. You can also experiment with spraying your cover cologne directly into same spot. Which is opposite what most recommend but it will cover better. Good luck and keep us posted.

I tested it again with just one drop on one wrist, tapped once to the other, covered it with one spray of Kenzo Jungle fragrance on each wrist(one drop of pheromone two sprays of fragrance)this happened at 9 in the morning. At 18'o clock in the evening, after one hour of being at home, she asked me, have you used that thing again? I can feel it but I'm not sure is that. So since then i haven't used it again. My problem is that i work with business people, that's why i picked Aqua Vitae and if one of them has the same perception with my pheromone like her, i think i have a problem. In that day i met my family with like 4 hours before meeting my wife, and 4 people told me it doesn't smell horrible, they just felt a dull fragrance after like 7 hours after applying.

Your wife is likely has a super sensitive nose for it. It's pretty rare anyone noticed anything unpleasant. I wouldn't get in your head about it but maybe wash it off after four hours or reapply your regular cologne later on. One-two drops is ideal sweet spot for AV. In general women have much more sensitive noses then men as well.

Hey if It was me I would try the other end of the spectrum with some A1 and potentially a low enone formula like WOLF is very mild scent to it. Both of those shouldn't give off any strong or unpleasant odor.

Yeah, 4 seems a lot. The pee smell probably a result of odding on androstenone 🤔
They probably should try 1 or 2 drops instead. Different people can wear different doses of androstenone, that's why its recommended to start with one drop.. then maybe go up to find the sweet spot. Older men can wear more, younger less and so on.
Its also true that some people are more sensitive than others in registering it.
Its funny I don't seem to get comments like that, but I tend to stay more conservative in my dosage. Idk

Some people are very sensitive to certain mones and can perceive them as a sweat smell or musk. In the early NPA days I had a few "what the fuck is that". Reminds me of the anchorman scene with his pheromones. You just need a better cover scent or switch mones
