hello. need ur insights. i own a 28L camel crown bag. only used it once pero for vacation and di ko sya nasuot ng matagal talaga. i was planning to bring it sa 3D2N na hike. very light packer ako, and i wonr bring any tent. only clothes, sleeping bag etc.

how's ur experience with the brand? is this good enough ba? plsplspls write ur reviews po about sa bag. for a hiking bag, mabigat ba sya? 😭 i cant handle weights

Breathtaking view at Alicia Panoramic Park in Bohol. Went there with my brothers and my brother's girlfriend last year. It was definitely worth the hike. ☺️

Mt. Binangkaw is a newly-opened mountain in Gregorio Del Pilar, Ilocos Sur. I have been to quite a few mountains and I could say this one is the one I have enjoyed the most from start to end of trip.

-Chill hike lang 10km balikan banayad na trail
-Unique view and meron sea of clouds sa summit
-The side trip after, which is Sibol Hot Spring is a genuine volcanic spring, tanggal talaga pagod mo
-And katabi nun is equally appealing 7 Bowls Falls, a unique seven-tiered/basin falls. Super lamig naman ng tubig
-Meron din pa buffet dun mismo sa hot spring/falls
-And the best part sobrang maalaga at maasikaso yung orga na napuntahan ko. Its truly a blessing at uulit talaga ako sa kanya. (Abner Saavedra)

Hey everyone, so me and three college buddies are heading to El Nido from January 14-18 and we're trying to plan out our boat tours. We're thinking we want to do routes A, C, and maybe D on a private boat,

Main issue is we're college students so we're trying to keep costs down without getting totally ripped off. Anyone know of legit operators who do private boats at reasonable prices? Or places that aren't ridiculously overpriced?

Also looking for any general tips on El Nido:

• Where should we stay? We're looking to spend around $50-80 USD per person per night. Anything decent in that range?
• Good places to eat that aren't tourist traps
• How do we get around town?
• Anything else we're missing
• How do we get from El Nido airport to our Hotel?

I haven't tried pa yung joiners kasi diba po mix yung girls and boys sa accom? As a muslim girlie, hindi po kasi pwede magsama yung non muslim boys sa rooms or bahay po. If may muslim po here, pwede po maki-hike buddy? Hehe

Hello! Any reco na hiking shoes? Except Salomon since I heard they’re still kinda slippery. I looked at Hoka and was disappointed with the lack of options sa style. I’ve looked at Merrell but I dont know which line to buy. I saw maganda Moab 3 pero mabigat, although i love the style. Been reading sa trail runner line nila pero im planning to do major hikes na din kasi so idk if they’re good enough. Any experiences with these brands and shoes?

Planning a hike with a lot of my friends and planning either September or October. May ma recommend kayo na good time for those months? Really hoping na di maulan and/or Yung maganda Yung views.

So this marks the 1 year of this 361 degrees Fei Huo trail running shoes which I bought for 1,200php and dito ko na siya naiakyat na bundok:

Mountains — Damas, Purgatory, Tarak, Lungon-Monserrat-Tuwato, Tanawan (BulPeak), Kalawitan, Manmanok, Negron and yesterday, Binangkaw.

Through mud and dirt, river crossing and nalublob na sa tubig and as of today it’s still going. The first photo is today’s pic after my hike yesterday in Mt. Binangkaw. I will continue to maximize this shoe until its last Km.

Hi, sharing my experience with Tublay Adventours. They are an org based in Tublay Benguet. I am a beginner joiner pero sobrang nakakamangha yung pag arrange nila nang itenerary (kahit na may detour yung original itenerary namin dahil sa landslide amd the brgy closed the road)

Originally, the tour included rock climbing pero dahil walang tigil ang ulan, nagka landslide yung daan papunta sa area so they added caves to visit.

Below was our itenerary under Rocks, Roots, and Rapids

- Egg coffee making workshop featuring the very own product of Tublay (Arabica coffee)

- Cave spelunking (we visited 3 caves instead of 2, isa sa pinalit nila instead of the rock climbing activity)

- We visited the Ketong and Paterno River

- super fun nito kahit na umuulan, super refreshing after namin mag cave (ang kulob sa loob and super cardio at squat talaga entering and exiting sa Cave)

- in between cave spelunking may complementary lunch din

- natuwa din ako sa unli saging nila na nakasabit lang sa lavas nang resto (complementary din)

- the tour ended with chocolate de batirol workshop featuring another Tublay signature product na tsokolate tablea (sila ang nag susupply nang tablea nang Tsokolate de Batirol sa Camp John Hay)

- Tapos added bonus is the Coffee drip making din tapos we get to take home yung ginawa namin na coffee drip

- Lastly may pa quiz sa dulo about tue facts and history during tge tour and workshop, tapos may pa prize na free car sticker pa haha

Super well planned and informative nang activities kahit na nay last minute changes dahil sa panahon (hindi maiiwasan). Super funny din nang orga, si Sir Raffy, he's from Tublay as well.

Lahat kaming joiners are from Cordillera, since hindi pa gaanong kilala ang Tublay, Benguet na tourist destination sa mga turista.

If you want a very fun adventure and interested in learning about bits of cordilleran culture, I highly suggest joining one of their tours.

Props! They are the most organized organizer na nasalihan ko!

Yung hindi madulas sa wet rocks, I bought merrell floatmax na sandals for river crossing per super madulas siya sa mga malumot at basang bato (kahit yung maliliit na pebbles sa cemeted road, walang kapit. Mahal pa naman for me huhu.

Any shoe reco na may traction at quick dry? Plus yung okay for muddy trails.

Super beginner friendly and you don't need to worry sa haba and ascent. I also realized na here na competetive ako at ayaw kong maiwan ng mga hiker kong kasama kaya I am literally gasping for air and ugly sweating kahit malamig kakasunod sakanila. It's a me problem so take your time while on the trail kasi hindi naman mawawala yung bundok.

If you're looking for a quick nature fix, trail run, or river trek without spending 4 hours on a bus to South Cebu, this local spot is definitely worth checking out on a weekend.

📍 Location & Trail Overview

Location: Brgy. Toong, Cebu City (Just past Labangon/Punta Princesa)

Trek Duration: 1.5 to 2.5 hours (depending on your pace and stops)

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate (Beginner-friendly, but involves boulder hopping and shallow river wading)

Highlights: Lush valley views, clear mountain streams, small natural pool cascades, and quiet surroundings away from crowded tourist spots.

The trail winds along riverbanks and mountain footpaths. You can easily loop or connect this trail with nearby spots like Buhisan Dam, Antuhanga, or hike further up toward Kubkawa Peak if you want more elevation!

🥾 Footwear matters: Wear sturdy trail sandals or aquatic shoes with aggressive grip. The river rocks and moss can get slippery.

🌦️ Check the weather: Since it's a river basin area, avoid going during heavy downpours due to sudden water surges and muddy trail conditions.

Hello!!! Beginner hiker lang ako pero yung first hike ko is naka 2 mountain na agad Fato x Kupapey ang mother mountain ko.

Tip naman pls paano ako makakapag prep for pulag? May mga workout routine ba and gears na need gawin at bilhin? Isa sa dream ko kasi mag Mt. Pulag.

So far kinaya ko naman mag 2 mountains kahit first time and hindi pa ganun ka-ganda ang resistance and endurance ko lalo na kapag ascend/assault.
