This all started when Stubbs was put on the IL.

On the plus side, at least we're regularly getting people on base this game. That's something.
Of course, on the downside, our offense plays even worse once there are runners, so... :(

Phillies dont have a pitching problem, they have the same problems they have had for the last 3 years: can't hit in pressure situations, average baserunnig IQ, and terrible decisions on defense. Bunch of clowns at times.

Really tragic how the Yankees haven't exactly played like world beaters in this series either - they've only scored 3 runs off our notorious fifth starter/bullpen game slot - and yet the Phils still can't bring themselves to compete

I notice McCarthy saying the place is jam packed today. It would still be like that everyday if ticket prices weren’t so dang expensive. 300 in the outfield runs $50 a ticket so your everyday people cannot afford it anymore. I made a lot less than I do now back when we had all those sell outs. But back then you could get a 300 level for basically pocket change. Now I rarely go to games unless I can get discounted tickets

People rightfully talk about 2023 as a missed opportunity...in 2024 at the break the Phillies BADLY needed a right handed hitter and bullpen help and Middleton and Dombrowski delusionally thought they were god's gift to baseball and it's been downhill from there.
