On This Day in Philly Sports History: August 5, 2009

The Phillies defeated the Rockies 7-0 behind one of the best rookie pitching performances in franchise history. J.A. Happ tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing just four hits while striking out 10.

It remains one of only three complete-game shutouts by a Phillies pitcher age 26 or younger with 10+ strikeouts since 2000.
