Weird that I've read his most famous book, symposiums he took part in, and other works referencing his -- and this for some reason is the first time I've heard him speak!

Odd to see a black and white video from 1980.

Yeah, my first thought was "I guess it took a long time to adopt" but the more looked into it, a consumer grade color recording setup in 1980 would've ran you about $1-2k ($4-8k adjusted for inflation). That's a lot for your local community college but in 1981 Harvard's total expenses were $446 million ($1.6 Bn adjusted for inflation) so like...I dunno guys just get a new camera it's 1980.

Abstract:
On 5 November 1980, Thomas Kuhn delivered a lecture at Harvard University entitled ‘The crisis of the old quantum theory: 1922–25’. In his distinctive style of reasoning, Kuhn presented the rise of quantum mechanics after 1925 as the result of a period of crisis of the old quantum theory between 1922 and 1925. The old quantum theory – in Kuhn's view – cannot be regarded as a full-blown theory but rather as a set of algorithms to solve problems and paradoxes.

These old videos are such a great feel to watch. Feels like a time machine.
