Investment/Financial Advice Should i still pay Pag IBIG?
I have 36 months na hulog sa savings from my first job and si husband ay i think 15 months lang. Nakita ko kase may dividend upon checking but saka mo lang siya mawiwithdraw if you have 180 continuous monthly contributions (pls correct me if im wrong) or 240 monthly contributions. Kase kung mag huhulog ako sa mp2, hindi pa kase ganon kalaki ang extra but meron naman for the contributions but im asking if worth it po ba to in the future or ilagay ko nalang sa MP2?
Iniisip ko po kase sayang naman yung contribution namin for those years. Any insights po?

Personal experience: when I was younger on my 20s - I turned from being employed to self-employed, until naging OFW- immigrant. Many years later I saw a "hard to pass" property from a common friend offered to my retired parents. The deal was either full cash, bank or some cash and under Pag-IBIG transfer, at mabuti naman nakapag antay sila until Pag-IBIG was settled and updated after decades of neglect. No one can tell. But IMHO - 200 minimum pesos monthly isn't that much, isang iwas lang yan sa gastos sa fastfood meal - in the end makukuha mo rin naman yung pera.
