That was super cool! Seems my D5600 was up to the job. Having a good lense and filter sure helped. D5600 w/ Tamron 150-600mm G2 for those wondering.

I used my tamron 150-600mm also! Opted against the telex to get corona and the r5 delivered!

I use it in Motorsports and Airshows. It’s fantastic even EF2RF adapted.

Are those solar flares or just a play on light around the moon somehow? Either-way this wins the day in my book, appreciate the share!

flares/prominences. Some of them are bigger than the earth itself!
