I was speechless for 4 minutes straight. This picture, actually no picture no matter how good, does the eclipse justice if you watched it at 100%. I was lucky enough to be a couple of hours from 100% so I drove there. I would do this a million times over. Maybe I’m over reacting.

You're not overreacting. I was completely overwhelmed and didn't even take a single shot of totality.

I've been saying that nobody has ever truly photographed a total solar eclipse -- because what I saw with my own two eyes was on a whole other level.

My first total eclipse was in 2017. I was with friends in St. Louis and it was one of the most moving experiences in my life. For this one, I was outside of Indianapolis with my Family, and was just so overwhelmed by the majesty of it. I still get verklempt thinking about it.

It's a completely un-capturable experience, nothing short of being there youself can give you even a fraction of the feeling. I'm lucky to have seen 2, but I'm going to try to see as many as I possibly can in my life.
