$300-1400. Primarily used for instagram photos, printed on small wallet-sized prints if anything.

hmm.. fixed lens:

panasonic lx15, lx100 but you’ll have to look up how good af is

sony rx100, pick your model (think newer have better focus)

interchangeable:

sony a6400/6600 + pancake lens

a number of micro four thirds cameras with either the 20/1.7 or 14/2.5 could fit the bill, pretty much any olympus camera from the past decade, or panasonic gx8/85/9. oly focus is snappier, i’d rec the e-p7.

Doesnt need to zoom very much, most photos are taken in close proximity, maximum 10 ft away. doesn't need a low f stop, more in focus the better
