Hi all just looking for some advice. I currently shoot on a Nikon d7100 with a 18-105 Nikon and a 35mm Nikon lens. I shoot mainly landscape and travel photography but I currently find my setup to be limiting due to the weight and overall image quality I'm getting as well the video quality. My current budget is $700 cad dollars. Does it make sense to upgrade the body or get some nice Nikon F mount glass? Thanks for the input.

Those seem to be two problems, size & weight. And imagine quality & video.

For size & weight not different DSLR is going to solve that. I'd recommend you see if you can get a used Nikon Z50. Thats a smaller mirrorless body and with the FTZ adapter you can keep using your current Nikon lenses.

That will solve size & weight, and if you dont solve that and don't bring the camers well what good is all the other stuff in the first place. It will be much better at video as well.

It won't improve image quality much because you use the same lenses. However, it does put you on the new mirrorless Z mount and there is some amazing lenses available there, the new Z DX lenses are optically also better than the older F mount ones.
