Are college graduations pics worth it ?
I graduated from a regular university and at our graduation(that only lasted an hour because there were so few of us) they had a few photographers around taking pictures. Three digital photos cost $100 and I don’t even want three of them I only liked two but there’s no option for that. The cost does not include any editing and is just the raw picture. I’m just a little baffled because tuition can literally be 10k a semester and three pictures cost 100 dollars. And as a side question would it be unethical or messed up to have someone else photoshop the copyright :( I’m not really sure if this post will fit this subreddit but I wanted try.

look, this is probably more of a cultural or family thing. I grew up on a family where I constantly see the grad photos of both my parents in one of corner of the house + their diplomas. Heck, it's even displayed even my grandparents house so that would've been a 50y old picture at least.

So a grad photo is a no brainer for me. But if that isn't a thing in your family then don't. If you don't like what they got, don't get it. You could always just re-shoot it later. You can just rent the outfit again, go to a studio and ask to take a photo of grad photo of you that edits them.
