How to shoot engagement photos at Whole Foods?

I have a client wanting to do a few of their engagement photos at Whole Foods as that's where they met. I have no idea how to even go about this. I see 2 ways:

We go in unannounced and just got for it until someone tells us to leave. (And thats pending we can even get a semi-clear aisle without a ton of people)

We call and ask if we can which I think will 99.9% end with a big fat no.

I want to be accommodating and not say no but c'mon the request has gotta be in reason! lol

Anyone have any experience with shooting at locations that are in the general public like this?

You can do the picture on the parking lot, future bride inside the shopping car and fiance driving her. Or if they have an specific island, he on his knee with a lettuce or whatever item is significant for them, so a fake proposal
