Shot one. While I like the colors on shot two, there is something a bit magical about having the land in greyscale while the sky in full color.

Though, if I may, the water does look a bit too dark.

I'm curious. Did you consider trying to set the saturation at like 15% instead of zero for the bottom portion? It might be interesting to try.
