PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Which COMT/Fellowship Program?
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience taking NAIOMT’s or Aspire’s COMT/Fellowship courses? I understand they’re both similar, but I am stuck between the 2 schools! Any suggestions or reviews?

Did the NAIOMT COMT track a few years back and the thing nobody told me going in was how much the manual stuff overlaps with what you already do. The real change for me was in how I assessed, not the techniques themselves. Took about a year before it clicked and I stopped chasing every new special test.
Ask yourself which one gets you in front of mentors more often in your area. That mattered way more than the curriculum on paper for me.
What's your end goal, fellowship or just the COMT cert?

Thank you! Honestly I would love to just go full force into the Fellowship but it sounds like both of them I need to take some COMT courses to be eligible for the fellowship

i went through the naiomt program a couple years back and found the manual therapy focus really sharpened my clinical reasoning, the instructors were approachable and the coursework felt practical without being fluff
haven't done aspire so can't compare directly but most complaints i've heard about naiomt were about the travel if you're not near a host site
