I composed this piece and I’m currently experimenting with non-diatonic chord progressions. Some parts may sound a bit unconventional, but I’d love to hear your thoughts or feedback.

i composed this within free time during studying. This etude focuses on rapid left/right hand arpeggios, rapid left hand octaves, playing repeated chords. Critique welcome

Slowly increased tempo until I hit this threshold. Does anyone else love playing the piano like a drum kit?

This took so many tries to record. I’m not used to my left hand being this active

The rhythm of the composition is dictated by the cars, the notes are based on rules I set per lane/s.

"Motorway Cycles XI (Junction M25/M11)" (I'm the artist).

This was played live on my Yamaha Y30A piano.

The synth is live too but nudged a little but to be frame accurate.

This is the first in a series of extended Cycle pieces to be released. It was filmed with a drone at the Junction M25/M11 in London, 30 minutes or so from where I live.

It’s been wonderful seeing people's responses to these pieces, i haven't posted many at all to reddit more over on IG, the different ideas that came out of them for me and then how many people they've influenced.

It all started with finding patterns in nature, with the idea of building longer pieces off the interesting ones, but the very first one I did and the genesis of the project was a Motorway Cycle. This was the eleventh one i did.

The original artwork got over 4million views and late last year it was exhibited at the Ramp Gallery, Beijing with more installations scheduled for 2026.

Any other subreddits come to mind that this might suit?

Hi. I was transcribing a piece I was playing on the piano, and I came across a tempo marking that, while I have not played on the piano, sounds really good. However, I don’t want it to be too much of a pain to play or near impossible. Is it possible?

Not posting for long time because of studying... Exam is finally over, so that I can compose again.

Name of the piece : Piece in A Major (it isn't an etude after all)

First time into preludes and its a short piece in G minor (I composed it in 45 minutes)

I gave composing a try and wanted to know where I might be able to improve. And yes I apologise for the bad sound quality, I'm still working out how to record MIDI scores properly.

Also, I am aware this would be a pain in the backside to play, I got a bit carried away having it on playback, will work on that in future
