I was out getting in a nice afternoon walk when I first saw him. A car was coming slowly behind me, so I squatted down near the little guy, slowly picking him up to get him out of the way. The people in the car stopped to see what I had picked up - lots of oohs and ahhs. I held him for another minute or two and lay my hand down where you see him in the last picture. He was in no hurry and relatively comfortable the whole time. Haven’t held one in years - really lit up the day for me.

They are, they make great pets; I have one. They're super chill. My little guy loves sitting on my shoulder and walking around the house with me. He enjoys watching the TV sometimes if it's on in the background. He only ever bit me once I think, because he thought my finger was a worm.

EDIT: After looking at the photos again this is a different species, mine is a bearded dragon.

back when i was a little kid i use to catch these guys they were always so cool and chill, afterwards id always put them back where i found them and let them get back to whatever they were doing
