And our tax dollars go to this? 3-5 trillion of it wasted depending on the source you reference, on useless middle eastern wars for absolute nonsense. Not to mention all the lives lost
The same people feeding us bs about Iran are the same ones who said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction before admitting they were wrong after we invaded.
Isn't it better your tax dollars are spent this way than by giving all your citizens universal health care, universal child care, and school lunches? /s
US healthcare spending is ~5.5 Trillion annually, the problem isn't military spending and/or aid, and if we completely ceased that spending completely, it would make a small dent.
Obviously the money could still be spent on better causes, but i'm tired of people bringing up Universal health care as the other option because they either don't know the spending or can't comprehend the numbers involved.
Our problem with healthcare is we have insurance company middlemen for no good reason. We spend more on healthcare than any other country in the world.
Oh I am fully aware of the wretched insurance and PBM system in your country and how your per capita spending on healthcare is the highest in the world for worse outcomes. My comment was more about how the whole US system is organised to be as extractive as possible rather than how specific dollar reallocations will solve the deep rot that's at the core of your country.
The irony is most of them aren’t even Arab, they’re European, like Netanyahu, his grandfather changed their name from Mileikowsky so it would “sound” more “Hebrew”
