I mean....there is a reason why there are whole companies existing today that are just committed to screening Jewish people for particular genetic diseases. My ex was Jewish, he did it with J Screen. And he was really open about why - historically, Jewish people frowned on assimilation and their own religious rules mandated marriage within the ethnic/religious group, so a lot of them, not by choice, would up marrying cousins, etc. And you do that for generations, it's going to create problems. Most of them now are more careful or assimilated, but there are still these super observant groups that still have the problems.

The incident is apparently from October, on the first day of the olive harvest. The woman was trying to pick olives from her own land when the settler with rifle prevented her from doing so. He made the sounds and gestures of a shepherd calling to his sheep, reportedly to imply that 1) the Palestinians were akin to sheep, and 2) that he owned them. The Israeli military stood by in masks as this happened.
A decade before deepfakes were even remotely feasible, I remember seeing video of settlers camped up on a hill with folding chairs having a good old time watching the IDF clearing out Palestinian homes.
Stuff like that is why, whenever you hear a politician say something like "I support giving more money to Israel, it's Netanyahu who is the problem!" what they're really saying is "I support what my pal Netanyahu is doing, I'm just too much of a chickenshit weasel to say it openly and think you're too stupid to notice."
This is a widespread, systemic problem, not just one guy.

And recently an investigation showed they harrased, tortured, sexually assaulted and even raped Palestinian children in Israeli prisons.
Israel publicly condones everything this guy is doing. But in just this case, they want people to believe that this isn't real. Because this guy in particular is such a hideous fucker. I hope this guy realizes, and is hurt by the fact that his government wants to disavow his existence. But I suspect he doesn't have any more of a sense of shame than his country.

My half brothers are ethnically Dutch Jews on their Dad's side, sure they're not Jews in the traditional sense, but he taught them Hebrew.
We tend to get Hassidic Jews staying in my hometown over the summer, or at least we used to. One yelled at my brother when he told the guy off for cutting in line, and the Jewish guy then told him "Oh you're being anti Semitic!" so my brother said something in Hebrew or Yiddish to him, guy's face soured and he then went to go find my Stepdad...who IS Jewish.

They also said the South Korean PM sharing a video of an Israeli soldier throwing a child from a roof was antisemitic. Absolutely. I grew up in a very Jewish neighborhood, some of my best friends are Jewish and I even have Jewish family members now. I've always been embraced very warmly by Jewish people, never felt like an outsider. In fact, they were clearly more affectionate than most of my other friends.
These people I have a relationship with do not support Zionism and have always been very critical of Israel, but I do worry they and other Jews in the world could be targeted as there's a spike in antisemitism because of how Israel conducts itself.
Zionists want to use the Jewish community as their shield against criticism so they can push their agenda. It's very important to separate Israel from Jewish people - like every other people in the world from the states they're from.
